The Teeling Distillery is an Irish whiskey distillery established in Dublin in 2015 by the Teeling Whiskey Company. The symbol of the brand, a phoenix rising from a pot still, symbolises the re-establishment of the Teeling whiskey brand. The rebirth began in 1987 when John Teeling, a descendant of Walter Teeling, purchased a facility in Cooley, County Louth and converted it into a distillery. Opening as the Cooley Distillery in 1989, it operated for around 20 years before being sold to American multinational Beam Inc in 2011. By Public Transport: You can take a Dublin tour bus. Alternatively, a number of Dublin Buses stop nearby on St. Luke’s Avenue - Routes 151, 27, 56a, 77a. It's also a 19-minute walk from both Stephen’s Green & Harcourt Street Luas stops and a 30-minute walk from Tara Street Dart Station.

By Car: From St Stephen’s Green, head southeast on St Stephen’s Green/R110. Continue on Hume St to Baggot Street Lower/R138. Follow R138 and R110 to Brabazon St. Continue on Brabazon St. Drive to Newmarket. Teeling Whiskey Distillery will be on your right.
